CNR Meets With the Township of Scotch Plains To Discuss REACH Projects

The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with the Township of Scotch Plains to discuss flooding issues and stormwater management.

Meeting participants included Scotts Plains Municipal Manager Margaret Heisey, Scotts Plains Construction Official Robert LaCosta, former President and CEO of Mott MacDonald Nick Dinichelo, Mr. Christopher Testa from the New Jersey State Police Hazard Mitigation Unit, and CNR researchers.

Discussions like this showcase REACH’s commitment to bringing cross-industry perspectives together to form environmental hazard protection plans that put community safety at the forefront.
