The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with officials from the Township of Little Falls as part of the REACH (Resilience Excellence and Capacity Hub) program to initiate collaboration on flood resilience planning.
The kick-off meeting focused on local flooding concerns, stormwater management challenges, and community priorities within Little Falls. CNR and municipal partners discussed how REACH flood-risk modeling, data collection, and analytical tools can be applied to support informed decision-making, evaluate mitigation options, and strengthen long-term resilience.
