Representatives from the Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with officials from the Village of Ridgewood as part of the REACH (Resilience Excellence and Capacity Hub) program to discuss local flood risks and resilience planning needs.
The meeting focused on flood-prone locations, stormwater management challenges, and infrastructure concerns within Ridgewood.
CNR and municipal partners explored how REACH flood-risk modeling, data analysis, and planning tools can support data-driven decision-making and enhance long-term flood mitigation strategies.
