The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with the Township of Dover, New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM), and local partners to discuss flood mitigation challenges and identify potential solutions through the REACH program.
The meeting focused on reviewing flood-prone locations, evaluating infrastructure and stormwater issues, and discussing opportunities to enhance community preparedness.
Through REACH, CNR and NJOEM work with municipalities like Dover to apply data-driven tools and science-based approaches to reduce flood risk and support strategic planning.
