The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with the Township of Dover, NJ OEM, and local partners to discuss flood mitigation challenges and identify potential strategies through the REACH (Resilience Excellence and Capacity Hub) program.
The meeting focused on reviewing local flood-prone locations, evaluating infrastructure and stormwater issues, and discussing opportunities to enhance community preparedness and long-term resilience.
Through REACH, CNR and NJOEM work with municipalities like Dover to apply data-driven tools and science-based approaches to reduce flood risk and support strategic planning.
