CNR and the City of Rahway Meet To Discuss Storm Infrastructure and Flood Resilience Measures

The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with the City of Rahway to discuss local flood problems and potential mitigation strategies through REACH.

The meeting brought together representatives from Rahway municipal departments, New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM), and NJIT CNR researchers to review stormwater challenges and evaluate opportunities to strengthen infrastructure.

Discussions focused on applying REACH tools and data to support long-term planning and identifying actionable strategies to enhance preparedness across the city.
