The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with Totowa Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Dover OEM, and NJOEM officials to discuss flooding concerns and review flood-prone areas as part of REACH.
The site visit focused on flooding along the Passaic River and stormwater challenges. CNR and OEM partners also discussed opportunities to improve mitigation measures with data-driven solutions.
Visits like this help establish cross-industry connections and create science-backed plans that support long-term resilience planning.
