The Center for Natural Resources (CNR) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology met with representatives of the Borough of Leonia, including Mayor Bill Ziegler, to address local flooding issues, stormwater management, and opportunities for REACH to support mitigation efforts.
The meeting focused on understanding flooding conditions around Leonia United Methodist Church and surrounding areas, identifying priority sites, and exploring relief strategies. Through REACH, CNR connects researchers with local representatives to develop action plans that strengthen flood resilience strategies and promote safer communities.
